The Rose wood Trio is an instrumental group composed of violin, cello and keyboard. Members are Mindy Grohman on violin, Don Grohman on cello, and Jim Boyle on keyboard.
Jim Boyle has performed as a bass-baritone soloist in choirs and ensembles throughout Tennessee, Georgia and Florida. For many years, he was a featured soloist with the Clifton Street Singers of Tampa, FL. His styles range from Broadway show tunes to Spirituals to selections from the Messiah.
Jim is an accomplished and skilled accompanist with years of experience in supporting individual soloists and choirs. His technical and artistic instrumental musicianship combined with his personal experience as a vocalist allows him to create a situation where the vocal music can become one with the accompaniment.
Jim Boyle has performed in many choirs as a bass singer: Forest Hills United Methodist Choir, Clifton Street Singers, and University of South Florida Community Choir in Tampa, FL. In Chattanooga, Jim has performed with The Singing Mocs, The University Choir, The Chamber Singers and the choir of Northside Presbyterian Church.
